The association pursues the following goals and serves the following purposes: Building and maintaining an active network for boat enthusiasts; actively promoting and disseminating alternative propulsion technologies; promoting access to boats through sharing models; increasing the use of existing boats through mediation and coordination; actively promoting seamanship through refreshers, workshops, further education and other services; dialogue with authorities to improve the framework conditions for the boat community.
