Medical care for children and adolescents aged 0 to 15, for sick and healthy children; including preventive care, advice and examination options.

Preventive and developmental check-ups

Preventive check-ups with observation of motor skills, speech and behaviour, including controls from birth up to the 4-year check, as well as immunisation and vision/hearing screenings.

Newborn medicine

Preventive examinations from birth, initial check-ups for home births or in birthing centres, care for premature babies, guidance on nutrition, care and vaccinations.

Hip ultrasound

Early detection of hip dysplasia with routine check-ups and early monitoring in cases of a family history of hip problems or depending on the baby’s position in the womb or at birth.

Eye examinations

Vision screening, visual acuity tests, colour vision testing, long-range stereo test as well as diagnosis of eye injuries and foreign body removal.

Hearing tests and speech assessment

Audiometry, OAE and tympanometry to assess hearing ability and identify speech development disorders in collaboration with speech therapy.

Airway and lung diseases

Diagnosis and treatment of recurrent or chronic lung diseases such as obstructive bronchitis, bronchial asthma and cystic fibrosis, including inhalations, lung function testing and X-rays.

Allergy treatment

Recognition and treatment of allergy-related conditions such as hay fever, pollen allergy, allergic asthma and atopic dermatitis, including allergy testing and desensitisation.

Laboratory tests

Blood, urine, stool and rapid tests, including blood count, CRP, blood glucose, Strep A, RSV, EBV, allergy screening and pregnancy test.

Paediatric orthopaedic and trauma care

Recognition and advice for wry neck and positional head deformation, as well as X-rays and casting/immobilisation for extremities, thorax, abdomen and spine.

Kindergarten and school check-ups

Examinations in kindergarten, in 4th grade and in the 2nd cycle of secondary school, checking hearing, vision, motor skills, physical development and vaccination status.

ADHD counselling and support

Diagnosis of ADHS/ADHD, counselling and support for parents, cooperation with schools and psychologists, and support during medication therapies.
