The purpose of the company is to carry out all business activities that are directly or indirectly related to the acquisition of participations in domestic or foreign companies of any form, as well as the management, direction, control and development of these participations. The company may use its resources to form, manage, develop and dispose of its portfolios of assets, as they are formed over time, to acquire, invest in and dispose of assets of any kind, tangible or intangible, movable or immovable, including but not limited to portfolios of securities of any origin, to participate in the founding, acquisition, development and control of a company through investment, subscription or option, to acquire securities and intellectual property rights, to dispose of them through sale, transfer, exchange or otherwise, and to develop them. The company may grant licenses and intellectual property rights of any origin. The company may borrow money in any form, except through a public offering. It may issue securities, bonds, debentures and all debt securities that are in bearer form and subject to transfer restrictions, exclusively in the context of private placements. The company may grant any loans, including proceeds from loans and/or securities issues, to its subsidiaries or affiliated companies. The company may provide guarantees or securities in favor of third parties to secure its obligations and the obligations of companies in which it is directly or indirectly involved, as well as those of its subsidiaries and companies belonging to the same group as the company, and it may support these companies financially, in particular in the management and development of their businesses and portfolios, through loans, advances and/or guarantees, without being limited to this. It may pledge, assign, encumber or otherwise create security rights on its entire assets or part thereof. The company may carry out all commercial, industrial, financial, securities and real estate transactions that are directly or indirectly related to its purpose or are suitable to promote its development. The above descriptions are to be interpreted in the broadest sense and their enumeration is not restrictive. The purpose includes all business activities in which the company is involved and all contracts concluded by the company, to the extent that they remain compatible with the purpose described above.
