The company's purpose is to manufacture, sell, market and distribute chemical agricultural products on international markets. The company may provide financing to companies in which it has a direct or indirect interest, as well as to direct or indirect shareholders or companies in which such parties have a direct or indirect interest, either directly or indirectly, by means of loans and/or other financing. The company may grant security of any kind for its own liabilities or the liabilities of the aforementioned persons, including by means of pledges, assignments, fiduciary transfers, guarantees of any kind or by means of offset obligations, whether against payment or not, even if such financing, security or guarantees are in the exclusive interest of companies in which it has a direct or indirect interest, or of direct or indirect shareholders or companies in which such parties have a direct or indirect interest. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad, acquire, manage and sell participations. The company may acquire, hold or sell real estate to the extent permitted by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad. The company may conduct any further business and take any measures that appear suitable to promote the purpose of the company or are directly or indirectly related to it.
