Its goals are as follows: 1. To assist family members, as defined in Article 4 below, who are facing financial difficulties due to circumstances beyond their control, particularly due to their health or age; difficulties resulting from lack of foresight are excluded. 2. To contribute to the education and vocational training of the children, boys and girls, of family members, as defined in Article 4 below, for a period of 10 years; upon motivated request from the interested party, the Foundation Council may, by a non-appealable decision, grant an additional contribution, in accordance with the Foundation's Scholarship Regulations of Palézieux.
