The foundation's purpose is to support, particularly in Switzerland, and by all appropriate means, institutions that assist people with disabilities, particularly the blind, by providing them with the means to acquire greater autonomy; with regard to visually impaired individuals, the foundation may specifically support and even exclusively support schools that train guide dogs (for complete purpose see foundation deed).
