to provide benefits with a provident character to employees of various companies of the Hewlett-Packard group in Europe who are subject to indefinite international transfers at the request of the employer and thus contribute to the realization of the Hewlett-Packard group's occupational pension provision on an international level; the benefits are limited to the scope of occupational pension provision for old age, survivors and disability.
