to enhance the value of Ticinese architecture of all periods, particularly that of the 20th century, and to make its production known to interested Swiss and foreign parties, especially students of architecture and art history, as well as those from other faculties. The foundation aims to prepare, maintain and manage suitable and comfortable accommodation, equipped with common areas for teaching and research on Ticinese architecture, and to manage the 'Center For European Studies and Architecture Casa Maderni' in Riva San Vitale.
