The purpose of the association is to simplify the planning of taking over the cinema in Stans, in order to engage in the future in the fields of cinema, performing arts, and visual arts, with a focus on promoting digital cinema with its linguistic diversity and for all age groups. The association offers the population of Unterwaiden and the surrounding regions a cinema operation on a professional basis and promotes, in addition to popular cinema, studio and independent cinema. The association operates its own bar/café and kiosk and promotes the exchange and conviviality among visitors.
