Stiftung Alp Bodmen

The foundation aims to continue an ecological alpine farming operation on the Alp Bodmen area (including Hälsli and Sasberg), to ensure sustainable and natural use, and to preserve the current landscape of outstanding beauty and character as part of the oldest hunting reserve in Switzerland ("Fryberg Kärpf") and as a recreational area. The alpine farming operation can also be carried out in conjunction with a socio-pedagogical project. The construction of roads on the alpine area is contrary to the purpose of the foundation. The foundation board may approve the construction of machine paths exclusively for the management of Alp Bodmen (maximum width 1.2m).
