The foundation aims to: create affordable housing for elderly, needy people to enable them to live in a dignified and age-appropriate manner; promote and develop creative young entrepreneurs in the Bern-Espace-Mittelland region through financial contributions, such as the awarding of a prize for particularly innovative and sustainable projects, especially in the fields of technology, nutrition, and medicine, which contribute to a societal added value; support Swiss charitable and non-profit (and thus tax-exempt) institutions. The foundation operates on a non-profit basis and does not pursue a commercial purpose.
