The association aims to implement the project approved by the federal government to account for the sink performance of Swiss wood as a CO2 compensation measure (hereinafter referred to as the sink project) and any subsequent projects. To this end, the association strives to increase the carbon storage in built-in Swiss wood. The association performs all monitoring, verification and validation tasks agreed with the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN).
