Witwen-, Waisen- und Pensionskasse der Professoren der Universität Zürich is the pension fund for professors of the University of Zurich who were appointed to UZH before 16 April 1989. The foundation insures emeritus professors and their dependents against the financial consequences of old age, disability and death, may provide benefits beyond the statutory minimum, and is governed by a foundation board with management carried out by the Professorships Department on behalf of the university executive.
