Promotion of affordable housing construction on a cooperative and non-profit basis, whereby the cooperative performs the tasks of an umbrella organization for interested builders; representation of the interests of these builders to the public, authorities, offices and economy; advice and information to members in the field of non-profit housing construction; promotion of the exchange of experiences between the affiliated cooperatives and non-profit institutions; advocacy for a broad political anchoring of non-profit housing construction; support of the construction projects of the members within the framework of the association's purpose; participation in the procurement of favorable financing for the purchase, creation and renovation of living space as well as for the precautionary acquisition and development of building land; promotion of the founding of new cooperatives; support of the federal government, cantons and municipalities in the implementation of housing promotion; participation in organizations that promote the association's goals; founding and maintenance of organizations to promote the association's purposes; obligation of members to subscribe to the association's journal; mediation of projects; support of affiliated members in the rental and management of their properties; acquisition and sale of land; construction, management and rental of buildings.
